We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail management and possess strong leadership skills to support the store's operations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations and decision-making
- Oversee and coordinate staff activities, including scheduling and training
- Manage payroll and maintain accurate records
- Handle customer inquiries and issues with professionalism
- Support recruitment efforts by participating in the hiring process
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations
- Contribute to budgeting and financial planning
- Supervise cash handling procedures and reconcile daily sales transactions
Requirements
- Proven experience in a retail environment, preferably in an Assistant Manager role
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees
- Proficiency in training development and performance management
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
