{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"52188f5f54134c4b0a77badc","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/52188f5f54134c4b0a77badc","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/52188f5f54134c4b0a77badc","title":"Application Developer","description":"Application Developer\n\nLocation: Chantilly, VA\n\nMust have an active TS/SCI FS Poly\n\nRequirement:\n\nThe Contractor shall work from core hours from 0900 hours to 1500 hours with alternative works schedules discussed on a case by case basis.\n\nThe Contractor shall follow an Agile methodology for SN software development.\n\nThe Contractor shall support the implementation and identified objectives and priorities for SN features and functions and actively contribute to the AGILE methodology for software implementation.\n\nThe Contractor shall support the implementation of security and development requirements as required by the sponsor applications.\n\nThe Contractor shall follow the document management plan that addresses documents required for all applications and systems, their storage locations and versioning requirements.\n\nThe Contractor shall support the implementation of SN reference architecture and documentation as required for SN platform.\n\nThe Contractor shall design, develop, maintain, and document code in support of software applications following industry best practices.\n\nThe Contractor shall design, develop, maintain and document code in support of databases following industry best practices.\n\nThe Contractor shall design, develop, maintain and document code in support of cloud services following industry best practices.\n\nThe Contractor shall conduct unit, functional, and user testing.\n\nRequirements\n\nRequired Skills and Demonstrated Experience\n\nThe Contractor shall have the following required skills, certifications, and demonstrated experience:\n\nDemonstrated experience with development of ServiceNow applications.\n\n111 Demonstrated experience implementing industry best practices and associated technical solutions consistent with accessibility standards.\n\nDemonstrated experience using agile methodology.\n\nDemonstrated experience using Jira.\n\nDemonstrated experience proposing recommendations that provide business value while supporting business goals and objectives, with an emphasis on improving User Experience/User Interface (UX/Ul), reducing O&M, increasing quality and speed of delivery, transforming, and modernizing web-based application, system, and service components.\n\nDemonstrated experience analyzing and documenting web-based application, system, or service components and associated interfaces, including those with databases and web services/APis to assist in decision-making regarding future development.\n\nDemonstrate experience interfacing with web-based databases and providing reports generation.\n\nDemonstrated on-job experience with version control software like Github or Subversion.\n\n111 Demonstrated experience in managing Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support, using service management systems.\n\nDemonstrated experience developing IT support documents that include SOPs, digital IT workflows, IT knowledge base, pre and post deployment checklists, IT architectural diagrams, system security plans, and administrative processes.\n\nDemonstrated experience working with compliance or performance management applications.\n\nCertification(s);
