(Antea®Group) is looking for ambitious, detail-oriented Mid-level Environmental, Health and Safety Consultant in the San Francisco Bay Area.\nThis position will support our clients with the management and implementation of their Environmental, Health and Safety programs. We desire an experienced candidate with demonstrated skillsets in areas such as: Management Systems (ISO 45001, 14001, 50000), Written Program Development, Ergonomics, Training, and/or Industrial Hygiene, Process Safety Management, Fall Protection, and Industrial Hygiene. Candidates with industry experience in the following industries are desired: Technology, Data Centers, Pharmaceutical, Bio-tech, Food and Beverage, Logistics and/or Manufacturing. Candidates with an Associate/Certified Safety Professional (ASP/CSP) certifications and or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) are a strong plus. In addition, strong organizational skills, as well as exemplary written and verbal communication skills are a must. While we are looking for a generalist, we will entertain health and safety specialists.\nThis role will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and offersa remote work environment. Approximately 30% travel is expected, including occasional overnight travel.\nTypical job assignments may include but are not limited to:\nCoordinate activities to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to environmental, health and safety requirements.\nConduct environmental, health and safety compliance audits and inspections.\nDevelop and implement risk assessment tools and develop applicable EHS programs and procedures.\nHelp develop EHS policies and programs with client-focused priorities, regulations, and risk in mind.\nDevelop EHS training content and conduct training as needed (i.e. - New Employee Orientation, emergency action planning, etc.).\nBe an EHS representative for site-related projects. This includes reviewing Management of Change forms (MoC), conducting project safety reviews, evaluating new equipment, overseeing contractors, conducting site walks for environmental permitting, and other tasks.\nAssist with incident management, including incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions.\nWork with EHS Team and site Managers to perform ergonomic assessments, industrial hygiene (IH) surveys, job hazard analyses (JHA), determine appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and/or other hazard assessments.\nSupport Sustainability, Business Continuity, EHS Management System, Health Management and other product and facility-related environmental, health and safety initiatives.\nMay be required to perform other EHS related duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, Ergonomics, or related field.\n7+ years of experience managing Environmental, Health & Safety projects\nMust have a deep understanding of Federal OSHA, EPA, CALOSHA, CALEPA and local EHS regulations and their applicability. Further understanding of NFPA, DOT, and/or international environment, health & safety regulations is a plus.\nExperience working in industry or consulting to Technology, Data Centers, Pharmaceutical, Bio-tech, Food and Beverage, Logistics, and/or Manufacturing, or other general industry companies.\nASP, CSP, CIH, CHMM certification or equivalent is preferred.\nExperience developing and implementing management systems such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 5000 is highly desired.\nAble to work independently with attention to details.\nMust have a strong desire to talk with, influence, lead a team, and directly interface with multiple clients and stakeholders. Additionally, must be able to take direction and coaching from both clients and team members.\nAuthorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.\nPotential employees must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check, pre-employment drug screening (as permitted by law), and baseline physical (safety sensitive roles).
