In this role, you'll provide therapy services and support to students with a variety of communication challenges, contributing to their academic and social success.\nYou’ll work as part of a collaborative special education team, with access to resources, mentorship (for CFs), and manageable caseloads.\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in compliance with IDEA and state standards.\nDevelop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.\nProvide direct therapy and consultative services to students with speech and language impairments.\nMaintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs to ensure legal and ethical compliance.\nCollaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support student goals.\nAttend and participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development activities.\nUtilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic strategies and technologies, including AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).\nSupport inclusive practices and adapt interventions to support diverse student populations.\nProvide training or guidance to classroom staff, if applicable, to generalize communication strategies.\nQualifications\nRequired:\nMaster’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders\nActive state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist\nState Teaching Credential (or ability to obtain)\nValid Driver’s License\nExcellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills\nPreferred:\nCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA\nExperience working in a public school setting or with IEPs\nFamiliarity with Medicaid billing practices and compliance\nCultural competency in working with diverse student populations\nClinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply — CF supervision available!\nWhat We Offer\nHighly Competitive Pay based on experience and location\nSign-on bonus and relocation assistance\nCaseload support and manageable workloads\nMentorship and clinical support, especially for CFs\nFull benefits package including:\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\n401(k) and retirement savings options\nFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)\nSick days\nPaid time off (PTO) and holidays\nProfessional development stipends and CEU reimbursement\nShort and long-term disability insurance\nLife insurance\nVoluntary benefit options\nWhy Choose Career Links?\nAt Career Links, we’re committed to supporting our clinicians with transparency, respect, and dedicated guidance throughout their assignments.
