Provide direct supervision of program staff and participating Foster Grandparent volunteers. The position will coordinate and conduct the program within the school systems and communicate with the site supervisors. Reports to the Adult Services Program Manager.Typical ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support Foster Grandparent program staff and volunteers.Recruit, train, orient, and assign volunteers to appropriate service sites.Coordinate daily program operations and maintain relationships with participating schools and agencies.Plan and facilitate monthly meetings, trainings, and advisory council sessions.Assist with grant writing, budget preparation, and securing matching funds.Monitor compliance with program regulations and prepare required reports.Promote the program through community outreach, presentations, fundraising activities, and media engagement.Evaluate employee performance, provide coaching, and recommend staffing needs.Serve as a liaison between sponsoring agencies, community partners, and program stakeholders.Minimum QualificationsRequires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Human Services, or a closely related field of study. Requires a minimum of five years of full-time equivalent supervisory experience in family engagement, child development, or family-focused social work, or closely related experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered for this position.Must successfully pass a background check related to this position before any offer of employment or promotion.
