What You'll DoDevelop and execute strategic marketing plans for the crop protection product line in alignment with Loveland Products’ long‑term direction and Nutrien Ag Solutions’ overarching crop protection strategyBuild and manage a 3–5 year innovation pipeline focused on differentiated, value‑added crop protection solutionsConduct ongoing portfolio analysis to identify growth opportunities, rationalization needs, and financial performance improvementsCreate and manage the yearly marketing plan, including product launches, promotional campaigns, brand awareness initiatives, sales enablement programs, and communication strategiesIdentify and implement new promotional tactics to enhance market visibility and customer engagementPartner closely with Loveland research, sales teams, industry contacts, and Nutrien personnel to assess market conditions and guide portfolio decisionsCollaborate with sales and technical services to validate product performance through marketing field trials and translate results into compelling marketing messagesLead and coordinate cross‑departmental project teams through the stage‑gate process—from gap analysis and ideation to pre‑commercial and post‑commercial executionWork closely with the regulatory team to coordinate and oversee new product introductions and manage lifecycle strategies for the existing crop protection portfolioProvide timely and accurate financial analysis, including forecasting, pricing insights, and performance tracking for the crop protection product lineEvaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive portfolioWhat You'll BringBachelor’s Degree required; preferably in Agriculture related field or marketing8+ years’ professional experience with 6+ years in sales or marketing in an Ag related fieldAbility to travel 30-40% nationally and internationally (Canada)Strong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectivelyHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to collaborate effectively across functions and teamsStrong organizational and time‑management skillsCompensation & BenefitsThe salary range for this role, Deerfield Corporate Office, is between $122,000 - $175,000. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week. In addition, we have a retirement program that encourages our employees to save for the longer term, with generous matching employer contributions. In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
