This position entails evaluation, design and construction engineering for water/wastewater treatment, civil infrastructure and industrial facilities including low to medium voltage power distribution systems, process control systems, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, security systems and communications systems.\nSalary range is $85,000 - $140,000/yr.\nNOTE: Final salary is based on education, experience, certifications, and location.\nResponsibilities\nEvaluation, design and construction engineering for water/wastewater treatment, civil infrastructure and industrial facilities including low to medium voltage power distribution systems, process control systems, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, security systems and communications systems.\nPrepare technical writing including memoranda, letters, reports, specifications, and submittal reviews.\nProactively coordinate work with other design disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects to produce a fully coordinated set of bidding documents.\nDevelop construction cost estimates.\nPerform site inspections for studies, design, and construction projects.\nPerform field visits to review contractor's work and resolve field related issues.\nPerform field visits to observe contractor's demonstration testing of electrical gear.\nMentor and delegate to staff.\nMonitor budget status for assigned projects.\nAssist with proposal development efforts for select project pursuits.\nEssential Functions\nEffective written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills\nEffective personal organization and time management skills\nAble to build strong relationship with coworkers and clients\nAble to work efficiently and independently on multiple projects while meeting budgets and schedule\nProficient with Microsoft Teams and Bluebeam\nCommitted to continual learning\nExcellent attention to detail\nExperience\n8+ years of electrical engineering work experience; preferably in the water/wastewater field.\nWorking knowledge of the National Electric Code.\nExperience using Bluebeam required.\nFamiliarity with industrial control system narratives and P&IDs considered a plus.\nExperience using Revit/AutoCAD considered a plus.\nCertification\nProfessional Engineer license required\nEducation\nBS Degree in Electrical Engineering required\nYour Benefits\nWright-Pierce’s goal is to foster a culture of health and wellness.
