This means embracing hybrid- and remote-work whenever possible.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Microsoft Security Accelerator Engineer is a vital part of the partner journey. They focus on pre-sales product demonstrations and post-sales onboarding/implementation with partners. By ensuring partners are fully knowledgeable and comfortable with products, the Engineer helps reduce overall partner churn. They speak with partners regularly for an estimated five (5) to six (6) hours a day via Teams meetings. The Engineer is responsible for learning Microsoft solutions (e.g., Azure, Defender) and security vendors (e.g., Blackpoint). They are the technical expert in supporting partner needs through an unpredictable configuration process.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nConduct product demonstrations that articulate the technical and organizational value of a solution.\nDrive initial configuration and architecture guidance for unique customer environments.\nAssist partners with proof-of-concept deployments and respond to Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Response (RFR).\nWork closely with sales (CAMs, PSCs, SSCs) to advance a sales cycle, handle objections, and function as a subject matter expert for a particular product-set.\nPresent in-person and remote training sessions for sales teams, support teams, and other vendor related departments, as well as our partner community.\nAct as the eyes and ears for vendor products by collecting feedback from partners on new features and suggestions for improvement.\nComplete relevant Learning Management System (LMS) courses.\nIdeal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:\nAbility to clearly communicate technical information and concepts in layman's terms.\nPossess an understanding of the partner channel/MSP community.\nAbility to autonomously manage ambiguous situations.\nPosess atrong interest in learning new and challenging platforms.\nAbility to have technical skills combined with significant social prowess.\nPossess a general understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.\nUnderstand Cybersecurity fundamentals.\nGenuine passion for customer service and an ability to troubleshoot deployments in an unknown ecosystem.\nAbility to identity and learn new technology and skills without explicit guidance.\nAbility to own difficult situations and follow through to completion .\nRequired Education & Certifications:\nB.A./B.S. or education in related field or equivalent work experience\nMTA Cloud Fundamentals, Microsoft EAE (required before or during role), CompTIA A+, Security+, Network+ certifications are preferred.\nCompensation:\nQualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $60,000 or more depending on experience\nExpected Closing Date: 10/03/2024\n#LI-Remote #LI-JF1 #BI-Remote\n*** Colorado law requires an estimated closing date for job postings.
