If you have strong mechanical skills, welding experience, and enjoy working in an industrial environment, we'd love to hear from you!Pay$18.00$22.00 per hour (based on experience)ScheduleMonday Friday7:00 AM 3:30 PMOvertime available as neededBenefitsFull-time benefits available upon permanent placementOpportunity for long-term employment and career growthJob ResponsibilitiesInstall, assemble, and align industrial machinery and mechanical systems according to specifications and blueprints.Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment by replacing defective parts as needed.Perform preventative maintenance to ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.Operate and maintain river blending mixers and Roper pumps.Use precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and levels, to ensure proper equipment alignment.Fabricate, modify, and weld parts for equipment repairs and maintenance.Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues using sound troubleshooting techniques.Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.Utilize production schedules to prioritize maintenance and repair activities.Follow all company safety policies, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs performed, and parts used.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.25 years of Millwright experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Welding experience is required.Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.Ability to lift 2050 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.Ability to perform physically demanding work while standing, walking, bending, and lifting.Commitment to following all workplace safety procedures.Work EnvironmentIndustrial manufacturing environment.Must be comfortable working around machinery, elevated noise levels, varying temperatures, and industrial chemicals while following all required safety guidelines.Apply today www.openwork.com to join Openwork and take the next step in your manufacturing career!
