The squad's goal is to manage public cloud, manage and improve DevOps practices and help support Versana's real-time syndicated loan data platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps practices, cloud-native applications, distributed computing, CI/CD implementation.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nFacilitate application modernization through DevOps practices and CI/CD toolchain implementation.\r\nContinually optimize systems and workflows by improving architecture, infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, and observability.\r\nCollaborate with developers to ensure applications are designed with DevOps best practices in mind.\r\nDevelop, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure cloud infrastructure across the entire stack including network, application, and database layers.\r\nMaintain and enhance disaster recovery strategies and backup procedures to ensure business continuity.\r\nParticipate in weekend release rotation and on-call rotation for production support.\r\nAdditional duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably assigned from time to time as operational needs evolve.\r\nPeriodically work outside standard business hours, such as during infrastructure upgrades and/or releases.\r\nMust Have\r\n3+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.\r\n3+ years of experience in design, develop, test, and management of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps, Gitlab CI/CD, Github Actions, Jenkins, etc).\r\n3+ years of experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, Powershell, etc.\r\n3+ years of work experience with Public Cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP).\r\n2+ years of experience in Infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.\r\nFamiliarity with messaging services like Kafka or Azure Eventhubs.\r\nExperience with monitoring, logging and tracing services (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, etc).\r\nHands-on experience with build frameworks like Gradle, Maven, NPM.\r\nExperience with Linux operating system.\r\nAbility to partner with multi-functional teams and pivot quickly.\r\nStrong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.\r\nCuriosity and motivation to learn.\r\nEqual Opportunity Employer\r\nWe are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
