This includes database and legacy web application migrations to the cloud, the ongoing support associated with these databases and applications, software updates and associated testing, etc. Also – ETL, data integration, data extraction work.This role is a Software Engineer with a focus on Data Engineering. An expert background in SQL development broadly (stored procedures a must have), with knowledge of the majority of the following platforms: T-SQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL, SQL MI, Snowflake, Oracle. ETL knowledge with a concentration in Informatica Power Center for legacy work, and, Azure Data Factory for go-forward. Python is a huge plus. Experience with Azure and associated cloud services a huge plus i.e Blob Storage, Azure Functions.This role will focus on projects having to do with migrating legacy databases, applications, and processes from on premise to the cloud.
