NCIS is the DON component with primary responsibility for criminal investigation, law enforcement (LE), counter-terrorism (CT), counterintelligence (CI), and cyber matters. NCIS not only has primary responsibility for all criminal investigative, CI, CT, and cyber matters within the DON, but it also has exclusive investigative jurisdiction in non-combat matters involving actual, potential, or suspected criminal, terrorism, sabotage, espionage, and subversive activities.\r\nMEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT\r\nAs a System Integrator the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the NCIS ITD organization in Quantico, VA.\r\nIntegrated experience in working with various Microsoft based applications and services to include Active Directory, DNS, SQL Server, Exchange 2016 & 2019, Windows Server 2019/2022, Windows Server Update Services, etc.\r\nDaily operational experience with VMware vCenter for virtual machine management\r\nSupports enterprise storage capacity planning and remediation\r\nAdminister web servers, IIS and Apache\r\nSupports admin and user backup and recovery requests along with storage engineer\r\nFamiliarity with Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure for desktop deployments\r\nImplements STIG releases across a variety of operating systems and applications\r\nContinual attention to periodic SCAP and STIG requirements\r\nTracks and remediates IAVM vulnerabilities\r\nManages ACAS vulnerability reports and remediates as required\r\nPerforms software upgrades, patch installs, and firmware upgrades\r\nDiagnose and troubleshoot problems related to the OS, hardware, network, and related software\r\nDaily written and oral communications with leadership and coworkers\r\nTroubleshoot and configure servers in a virtual environment\r\nCreate scripts in various shells to automate daily and periodic tasks\r\nDocument work for leadership, update/create Standard Operating Procedures, and brief staff and customers on task.\r\nWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:\r\nBring your help desk expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. Our System Integrator must have:\r\nSecurity Clearance Level: Active TS/SCI clearance. A TS with SCI eligibility is also acceptable.\r\nRequired Experience: 7+ years in systems administration\r\nRequires a firm understanding of technologies, including:\r\nMS Active Directory, DNS, GPO\r\nMS SQL Server 2019/2022\r\nVMware vSphere 8.x\r\nWeb Server IIS, Apache\r\nBasic network troubleshooting experience for system connectivity\r\nDoW system accreditation process\r\nSTIG checklist review process to include SCAP scans and implementation\r\nGroup Policy Management administration to include policy creation and maintenance\r\nImproving system operations and functionality, monitoring, and optimization of servers and workstations.\r\nRequired Certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE required.
