Along with the project(s) team, they will work closely with Project Executives and Regional Leadership. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nFoster the development of Foreman to grow into future Superintendents.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nSupport both pre-construction and the project team in reviewing trade partners proposals, s chedules, and logistics .\nManage the installation of the following systems: electrical, HVAC, automation, plumbing, process piping, low voltage systems, fire/life safety, and fire protection design/construction coordination (validated and non-validated systems).\nParticipate in review of Electrical related shop drawings and submittals.\nAssist in the development of full commissioning plans for all Electrical systems that identify and define the following: all test requirements, required inspections, factory start-up of major equipment, factory acceptance testing, project and vendor documentation requirements, and integrated test plans demonstrating full system operations.\nResponsible for onsite construction support for electrical systems and will oversee the start-up, balancing, commissioning and validation certification of these systems, including owner training and project closeout.\nDevelop and oversee project specific electrical quality and safety programs, including participating in safety cause mapping for post electrical safety events.\nCreate construction schedules, perform regular updates, monitor logic relationships, and insert new activities and impacts.\nCoordinate jobsite logistics and maintain relationships with neighboring occupants.\nNegotiate with authorities having jurisdiction to achieve project occupancy milestones.\nRequired Skills and Abilities\nWe are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess :\nStrong grasp of electrical construction concepts and applicable codes.\nAble to work with multiple stakeholders to identify and resolve complex issues as it relates to electrical design and construction.\nAbility to run complex meetings with multiple attendees, issue minutes promptly, and follow up with participants for deliverables.\nGood understanding of fire/life safety and fire sprinkler systems and the integration of same with mechanical, electrical, building systems.\nGood understanding of the test and balance process and requirements.\nGood understanding of building automation systems and sequences as it relates to MEP.\nGood understanding of Electrical related safety regulations.\nAbility to contribute to a culture of safety in a construction environment.\nProficient in the use of current virtual design and construction software is preferred.\nExperience with CPM scheduling and the lean pull planning processes. Knowledge in the use of Primavera P6 is preferred.\nProficient computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite and Bluebeam.\nComfortable in an open and collaborative working environment.\nExcellent listening, communication, and conflict resolution skills.\nAbility to create and support a positive team environment.\nA strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.\nEducation and Experience\n5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent.\nBachelor’s degree in related field preferred but not required .\nPhysical Requirements\nContinual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and heavy lifting and carrying.\nProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nTravel to and from the office as well as assigned job site(s).\nWorking at EIG, you'll have the chance to try new things, explore unique paths and shape your future.
