Visit peraton.com to learn how we're keeping people around the world safe and secure.\nResponsibilities\n\nPeraton is looking for an Information Systems Security Engineer (SSE) shall provide services for securing, maintaining, operating, and supporting the customer's IT systems by providing continuous assurance with full awareness of security, regulatory, and corporate policies, compliance, and implementation of technology in support of security controls.\n\nQualifications\n\nFive (5) years of years of experience with the following:\n\nSecure, maintain, operate, and support by providing continuous assurance with full awareness of security, regulatory, and corporate policies, compliance, and implementation of technology in support of security controls.\nRecord and keep up to date information on the security posture and provide status updates and briefings to customer.\nDefine system security requirements, develop security concept of operations (CONOPs), and security baselines.\nConduct Information security and Cybersecurity assessment testing and reporting, identify deficiencies and document plans of actions and milestones.\n5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD (additional experience may be used in lieu of a degree\nActive Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI and poly.\n\nBachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college; or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related scientific/technical field. (Additional education, training, certifications, or work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree or work experience at the Government's discretion.)\n\nMinimum/General Experience: The ISSE shall have five (5) years of experience in INFOSEC, and assessing, categorizing, classifying and evaluating Cybersecurity risks and threats. The ISSE shall have five years of experience using common INFOSEC and Cybersecurity tools such as Tenable Nessus and Security Center, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP).\n\nPreferred Experience: COMPTIA Advanced Security Practitioner or ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional or Associate.\n\nPeraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and eligibility to participate in an attractive bonus plan.\n\nTarget Salary Range\n\n$135,000 - $216,000.
