You’ll receive mentorship, hands-on lab/shop experience, and exposure to regulated product development practices.Open Tracks1) Mechanical Engineering Intern (SolidWorks)ResponsibilitiesSupport design and development of components, fixtures, and assemblies from concept through prototype.Create 3D CAD models and detailed drawings in SolidWorks with GD&T; perform basic tolerance stacks.Execute bench tests, characterization, and failure analysis; document test plans and results.Assist with prototyping (3D printing, machining, assembly) and iterate based on test data.Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, and quality teams to integrate mechanical designs into systems.Basic QualificationsPursuing BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Proficiency in SolidWorks and engineering drawing standards.Coursework or experience in materials, mechanics, and DFM/DFA.Comfortable with hand tools, shop safety, and rapid prototyping.Preferred QualificationsExperience with FEA (SolidWorks Simulation or Ansys) and tolerance analysis.Exposure to medical device or other regulated product development.Familiarity with statistical analysis (JMP/Minitab/Python) and test method development.2) Electrical Engineering InternResponsibilitiesAssist with PCB design, schematic capture, and layout reviews for mixed-signal or embedded systems.Bring-up and validate prototypes using oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and logic analyzers.Develop test scripts or fixtures to automate board/system verification.Support firmware engineers with hardware interfaces, sensors, and power systems.Document ECOs, test procedures, and verification results.Basic QualificationsPursuing BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related).Fundamentals in circuits, analog/digital design, and embedded systems.Experience with EDA tools (e.g., Altium or KiCad) and standard lab instrumentation.Ability to read datasheets, select components, and follow safe lab practices.Preferred QualificationsExperience with embedded C/C++ or Python for test automation.Knowledge of signal integrity, power electronics, or sensors/actuators.Exposure to EMC/EMI considerations, design for reliability, or medical standards.3) Document Control InternResponsibilitiesMaintain and organize product development documentation in the eQMS/PLM system (e.g., Arena, Agile, MasterControl).Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Deviations, and Corrective Actions under guidance.Ensure version control, traceability, and compliance with internal SOPs and relevant standards.Format and proof technical documents, drawings, and test reports for release.Support audits and record retrieval; prepare document metrics and dashboards.Basic QualificationsPursuing BS/BA in Engineering, Quality, or related discipline.Strong attention to detail, organization, and written communication.Comfortable with document formatting and collaboration tools (Google Workspace or Microsoft 365).Preferred QualificationsExposure to eQMS/PLM systems and document control practices.Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA QSR, IEC 62304/60601).Interest in quality systems, compliance, or operations.What You’ll GainHands-on experience with real product deliverables.Mentorship from engineers and quality professionals.Insight into regulated product development lifecycles.A capstone presentation to ANEUVO leadership.RequirementsMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the internship.Able to be on-site in Los Angeles, CA 5 days/weekAnticipated internship dates: June 1.
