Warehouse Associate Full-TimeE&H Ace Hardware is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support our warehouse operations and ensure the smooth flow of inventory from receiving to stocking. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, has a strong sense of organization, and takes pride in creating an efficient and safe environment. As a Warehouse Associate, you'll be a critical part of the store's daily operations-helping maintain accurate inventory, assisting customers with large orders, and ensuring that products are stored and stocked properly. What You'll Do:Inventory Management & ReceivingVerify incoming merchandise against invoices and purchase ordersReport shortages, damages, or backorders to the appropriate team memberLabel, price, and organize merchandise for stockingMaintain accurate receiving files and inventory recordsRestock product in the warehouse and assist in placing it on the sales floor Customer & Team SupportLoad customer purchases into vehicles carefully and efficientlyAssist customers and team members with lifting, moving, or locating large itemsUse a 2-way radio and respond promptly to calls and pagesCommunicate effectively with management, delivery personnel, and store associates Warehouse MaintenanceKeep the warehouse, storage areas, and check-in zones clean and orderlyMaintain the customer loading area and special order storage zonesPerform maintenance on receiving tools and equipment (floor scrubbers, buffers, etc.)Secure documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and receiving records General OperationsOperate forklifts, pushcarts, and other warehouse equipment safelyPrepare and package items for mailing or transferAssist with promotional setup and special event displaysAdhere to all safety procedures and company protocols Janitorial & Special ProjectsClean restrooms, offices, and the sales floor as assignedUse and maintain floor cleaning machines for store upkeepParticipate in store meetings and training sessionsComplete special projects as directed by store leadership What You'll Bring:High school diploma or GED (required)Basic computer skills (PC operations and basic data entry)Forklift certification (can be obtained through the company)Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a teamStrong attention to detail, organization, and efficiency Physical & Work Environment Requirements:Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs. with assistanceFrequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbingRegular use of hands to handle tools, products, and materialsComfortable working in both indoor and outdoor conditions (including heat, cold, and dust)Exposure to mechanical equipment and moderate noise levels Why Join E&H Hardware Group?Family-owned company rooted in Ohio communitiesSupportive team culture and hands-on leadershipHealth, dental, and vision insurance (Full-Time)401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holiday payEmployee Assistance ProgramGenerous employee discountCareer growth and development opportunities About Us:E&H Hardware Group operates multiple Ace Hardware stores and a skilled trades service division across Ohio.
