The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.\r\nAs part of this role, you will be responsible for data extraction and data analysis from structured and unstructured sources. You will develop systems and applications and implement them in a production environment by partnering with technology and business partners. You will have to address complex problems involving financial data with specific focus on credit risk management. You will have to have an open and adaptive mindset to learn new and advanced models in LLM and GenAI and bring in innovative solutions to complex business problems.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nArchitect, design, and implement robust Python-based solution\r\nResolve variety of high-impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards\r\nProvide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint\r\nUtilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation\r\nDevelop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals\r\nExperience in writing and using shell script and other Linux features\r\nImplement unit testing and TDD to ensure software quality and maintainability\r\nQualifications\r\n5+ years of experience designing and developing scalable and reliable applications\r\nProficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, PySpark\r\nProficiency with tools and LLMs will be an advantage\r\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team\r\nPreferred Skills\r\nExperience in GenAI/LLMs projects\r\nFamiliarity with distributed data/computing tools (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Spark, MySQL)\r\nBackground in financial business-like banking, risk management\r\nEducation\r\nBachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience in STEM\r\nCompensation and Benefits\r\nPrimary Location Full Time Salary Range: $142,320.00 – $213,480.00.\r\nIn addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
