Serves as point of contact for line on shift.\nResponsible for SAP transactions.\nGive work direction to Operators on the line.\nAdvanced troubleshooting capabilities.\nAdvanced preventive maintenance capabilities.\nPerforms minor maintenance.\nResponsible for training and serves as a mentor to Operators.\nComplete quality paperwork for product inspections and entry into QIS system.\nEnsure the machine is operating according to capability.\nKnowledge of production procedures and specifications.\nPerform periodic checks on the equipment and solve problems as detected.\nWork with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.\nPerform advanced changeover duities.\nObserve and follow all company safety rules and regulations.\nTrains others and serves as a resources to Operators.\n\nTeam Work and Communication\nThe machine operator will work with the quality team to ensure the finished product meets quality standards.\nThe maintenance department to communicate mechinical issues that cause performance and quality issues with the finished product and ensure the machine is operating at standard.\n\nJob Complexity\n\nI encounter differing situations, and solving them requires the identification of the issue, the application of judgement and the selection of a solution from my expertise and acquired knowledge\n\nI can rely on detailed standard practices/procedures/instructions\n\nKnowledge/Experience/Skills\n\nWorking Safely: Making sure not to jeopardize the safety of yourself or others. The ability and willingness to stand 100% of time and walk in the production facility. Adequate hand and finger coordination to manipulate small parts. Adequate vision and color perception. Minor stooping, bending, sitting, reaching and crouching as needed to inspect finished product and materials.\n\nEducational Requirement: The machine operator must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED.\n\nExperience is required for the job: The machine operator must have one years related experience.\n\nTechnical skills: The Machine operator must have mechanical and computer skills.
