Job SummaryActively participates in all assigned clinical and non-clinical activities. Maintains responsibility for providing continuity of care in general or specialty areas. Assesses, plans and provides patient care in collaboration with the Attending Physician. Provides comprehensive health assessments, performs medical diagnosis of acute and chronic illnesses, prescribes medications and formulates treatment plans. Diagnoses medical conditions, plans and implements interventions. Assists in medical/surgical/OB/ED/ICU care of patients and evaluates responses in collaboration with the Attending/Consulting Physicians. Resident will meet milestones for the year of training. Travel between rotations and outpatient offices is required.
