{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"51420b754fed4018ea0d6fce","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/51420b754fed4018ea0d6fce","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/51420b754fed4018ea0d6fce","title":"Mechatronics Systems Engineer","description":"Job Role: System Engineer\nLocation: Dallas, TX\nOnsite Opportunity\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n• Lead collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to gather and track goals and KPIs.\n• Translate product goals into comprehensive system and subsystem requirements.\n• Generate and maintain interface control documents for subsystem and vehicle interactions.\n• Specify functional and non-functional requirements in detailed subsystem specification documents.\n• Support analyzing impact when there are changes to stakeholder requirements.\n• Assist Safety Engineers in analyzing systems/subsystems to mitigate risk exposure.\n• Ensure safety goals, requirements, and methodologies are integrated into product designs.\n• Evaluate new requests and provide accurate estimates for new features and functions.\n• Participate in conceptual design and documentation processes.\n• Lead design reviews to ensure traceability and compliance.\n• Review and approve test plans and procedures for alignment with requirements.\n• Contribute to business development through proposal inputs and customer meetings.\n\nRequired Skills:\n• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\n• 4-7 years of direct experience in requirements elicitation and generation.\n• Proven track record in product development lifecycle for complex systems/subsystems.\n• Experience in autonomous systems, robotics, or related fields highly desirable.\n• Proficient in Agile or Scrum methodologies.\n• Strong understanding of design principles, hardware development, and requirement management tools.\n• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills; strong communication abilities.\n• Experience with requirement management tools such as IBM Doors, Jama Connect, Polarion, or other requirement management software.\n• Experience with safety analysis such as HARAs, STPAs, FMEAs, and others.\n• INCOSE SEP certification or CPRE certification preferred.\n\nOptional Skills:\n• Physical Requirements:\n• Ability to remain in a stationary position at a computer workstation constantly throughout the workday.\n• Ability to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.\n• Ability to effectively complete job responsibilities on computer monitors.\n• Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information in person, via phone, and through other electronic means.\n• Able to traverse an office environment.\n\nWhat's in it for me?\n\nWork across the entire product development lifecycle, from concept through validation.\nInfluence product direction by translating business goals into technical requirements.\nExposure to both system-level and subsystem-level architecture.\n2.
