These positions are initially targeted to work on a Major Project outside of Amarillo.\nResponsibilities Installs, terminates and tests equipment as per specifications and in conjunction with any pertaining building and or electrical codes.\nRepair, restore and test all systems per specifications and in conjunction with any pertaining building and or electrical codes.\nDaily communications with Project Manager on delays, requirements and general status of jobs to ensure delivery of the project.\nAll work is performed to Company standards and quality installation techniques are practiced.\nWork with Project Manager to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to the client and service department.\nWork at required heights utilizing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or other.\nWork in confined spaces as necessary.\nWork with Field Engineers on startup to ensure complete system compliance.\nResponsible for training apprentices on Company procedures, systems and installation techniques.\nOther Duties As Assigned.\nRequired Qualifications Minimum 2 years working in the electronic field with daily use of AC/DC theory / Installation (ex HVAC).\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nValidDriver's License with clean record.\nAbility to pass pre-employment screening.\nAbility to use hand and specialty power tools associated with the industry.\nAbility to lift 50lbs consistently.\nAble to work independently.\nPreferred Qualifications 1 + year prior experience in a technical role within a Residential or Commercial Integrated Security Systems Company.\nAssociates degree (2 year) in a technical capacity.\nAptitude for learning system programming as evidenced by 1 year of experience.\nPhysical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel objects, and type on keyboard; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The use of power tools will be required to effectively perform this position. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may be required to work at heights over 6 feet.\nWorking Conditions In general, the following conditions of the work environment are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, work on job sites, may be required to travel to and from job site locations, may work in a typical office environment, and is occasionally exposed to construction equipment.
