Working under the direction of an Echo/Deployment Strategist, you will help deliver a phased minimum viable product (MVP) that supports mission-critical decision-making for a federal government client.\n\nFDEs execute assigned implementation tasks within established architecture and sprint plans, raise issues and blockers to their Deployment Strategist, and help ensure sprint deliverables meet operational standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport development of a data ontology and foundation that will underpin future predictive modeling capabilities\nContribute to a Workshop-based application (interactive scenario builder or operations dashboard with real-time insights) using Foundry's Workshop/Slate application layer\nBuild and support natural-language querying capability over structured data, covering key business dimensions such as time, cost, quality, and context\nSupport ingestion of policy and reference documents into Foundry as searchable content\nImplement rules-based logic and reusable business definitions anchored to the platform Ontology\nParticipate in agile sprint cycles, including planning, standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming\nDemonstrate working capabilities to government stakeholders\nCoordinate with client stakeholders and platform project managers as directed by the Deployment Strategist\nDeliver clear technical documentation and configuration notes to support handoff and future roadmap phases\nProvide defect resolution, troubleshooting, and incremental improvements\nSupport bi-weekly progress reports and sprint status updates alongside the Deployment Strategist\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Mid-Level Engineer)\n\nFamiliarity with Palantir Foundry, including pipelines, Workshop/Slate, and Ontology configuration\n3-5 years of software engineering, data engineering, or systems integration experience\nExposure to regulated or compliance-driven data domains is a plus\nExperience with Python, TypeScript, or Java in a data platform or analytics environment\nFamiliarity with data governance practices in federal or public-sector data environments\nComfortable working with moderate independence across the build, test, and deployment lifecycle, escalating complex architecture decisions to senior engineering staff\n\nAbout PVM & Benefits\n\nAt PVM, we mean it when we say we value diversity.
