We are looking for a Sr.\nTechnical Program Manager to partner with our product, engineering, and applied science\nteams on creative controls that shut out fraud, scams and bots while keeping the experience\nseamless for customers and sellers, whether they are shopping, streaming Prime Video,\nasking Alexa, or reading on Kindle. This is a highly visible role that calls for real\nbusiness acumen alongside technical depth. Consolidate requests from across the org, make the tradeoffs visible, and make high judgment decisions\n- Define and report the metrics that show whether a program is working, spanning detection and prevention effectiveness, operational health, and attainment against annual goals.\n- Support annual and quarterly planning, translating business goals into scoped engineering commitments and defensible resource asks.\n- Write the documents that drive decisions: program plans, business reviews, and leadership updates that a director or VP can read once and act on.\n- Find and remove systemic sources of delay. Where the process is the bottleneck, redesign it and automate the parts that should not need a person.\n\nAbout the team\nAccount Integrity (AIT) protects Amazon customer accounts from the moment they are\ncreated. We keep bots and abusive\nautomation out of our authentication flows, and shut down bad actor accounts before they\ncan be used for fraud or abuse. We also own Amazon's defense against impersonation scams detecting scam contacts across email, chat, and phone, taking down fraudulent URLs,\ngiving customers a way to confirm that a message genuinely came from Amazon, and partnering\nwith law enforcement and consumer advocacy groups to hold offenders accountable.\n\nWe combine machine learning at scale, deep risk expertise, and operational rigor to stay\nahead of adversaries who adapt every day.
