The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting healthcare delivery by preparing patients for examination, obtaining vital signs, and assisting physicians with various procedures.Essential Responsibilities:Deliver patient care by recognizing normal and abnormal health parameters, responding to telephone triage, and offering reassurance and education.Ensure smooth healthcare service delivery during patient visits, maintain accurate and updated medical records, and document billing information.Assist physicians with testing, treatment procedures, minor surgeries, and physicals, including applying splints, dressings, and managing medication samples.Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up on test results, ensuring proper consents are obtained for invasive procedures and immunizations.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.First shift in a regional healthcare facility located in the Midwest United States.
