manage references using bibliographic software.Research, interpret, and summarize background materials from a variety of scientific sources.Project ManagementWork with staff on existing projects and/or initiate new project initiatives.Organize and maintain project documentation and communications; track project progress using project management tools.Track action items and tasks, provide deadline reminders to program staff; maintain spreadsheets of relevant information.Communication And DocumentationPrepare scientific and programmatic presentation materials such as tables, graphs, slides, abstracts, posters, and overheads.Analyze and develop presentations consisting of data from progress reports.Prepare presentation materials such as handouts, meeting materials, slide presentations, and background/supplemental documents.Meeting CoordinationPlan, organize, and participate in technical meetings and consultations.Coordinate and plan scientific meetings, including communications with distinguished lecturers, invited guests, and participants, registration, and meeting logistics.Ensure that all aspects of the programs are tracked and reported, key milestones and deliverable dates are known and adhered to, and communication is maintained.Scientific Analysis And ReportingPerform statistical analysis, including data management (cleaning, creating new variables, etc.), descriptive statistics, linear regression, and regression analyses.Develop and implement new scientific programs to fulfil organizational goals and objectives.Create and maintain clinical databases and prepare reports of data analysis for presentation.Logistical SupportAttend meetings, training, and conferences in support of program initiatives.Assist with technical writing, including co-authoring articles for journal submission and writing professional services agreements and statements of work.Additional DutiesWork with staff on planning and implementation of cancer epidemiology projects.Download and merge several public use data sets;
