Legal Team Assistant

Our client is seeking a Temporary Legal Team Assistant to replace an outgoing LTA and provide high-level administrative support to a busy legal team. The ideal candidate will support four partners and possess strong organizational skills, excellent responsiveness, and a high level of technical proficiency. Candidates with prior law firm assistant experience are preferred, though the client is also open to strong entry-level professionals with office experience and exceptional tech skills.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support to 4 partners and attorneys.Coordinate travel arrangements and manage travel logistics.Process time entries and expense reports.Assist with new matter intake and business intake paperwork updates.Prepare, revise, proofread, and format legal documents using Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.Maintain electronic and paper filing systems, including NetDocuments.Support billing, invoicing, and administrative workflows.Manage calendars, meetings, contacts, and scheduling.Handle correspondence, phone calls, visitor reception, and general office support.Assist with legal filings, document notarization, and additional administrative projects as needed.QualificationsHigh School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.1–8 years of administrative experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.Open to candidates with:1–2 years of legal assistant/law firm administrative experience; OREntry-level office professionals with strong technical aptitude.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.Excellent communication, proofreading, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.Willingness to work overtime as needed.
