This role ensures that project activities are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.\n\nThe CMT Project Manager II works closely with technical staff, field crews, and clients to oversee daily project execution, maintain project profitability, resolve routine technical and scheduling issues, and help develop and mentor junior staff and field technicians. This role bridges hands-on project delivery and team leadership to support operational excellence and client satisfaction.\n\nPay Range: USD $80,000.00 - USD $83,000.00 /Yr. Responsibilities:\n\nLead and manage assigned CMT projects from proposal through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality goals are met.\nDevelop project estimates, scopes of work, and proposals in collaboration with technical and business development teams.\nCoordinate and allocate resources, including field technicians and laboratory support, to meet project demands efficiently.\nCommunicate proactively with clients, addressing questions, resolving routine issues, and maintaining strong working relationships.\nMonitor project financial performance, including cost control, budget tracking, revenue forecasting, and profitability analysis.\nProvide technical oversight for field and laboratory work, ensuring compliance with applicable standards (ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC) and company procedures.\nConduct or supervise field inspections and testing when needed, especially on higher-complexity or high?profile projects.\nReview and approve project reports, timesheets, and client documentation, ensuring timely and accurate project deliverables.\nSupport the development of junior project managers and field staff through on-the-job training, mentorship, and performance feedback; assist with hiring and onboarding as needed.\nPromote and enforce company safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements on job sites.\nIdentify opportunities for add-on or follow-up work through active client engagement and site presence.\nPrepare and deliver clear technical reports and project documentation for internal and external stakeholders.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, laboratory, safety, and operations teams to support integrated project delivery\n\nProvide leadership to junior project managers and field technicians, acting as a resource for questions, technical guidance, and best practices.\n\nJob Responsibilities Note:\n\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
