As a key member of the development team, you'll focus on building, testing, and supporting management and configuration solutions for our private cloud offering.\n\nWe need a proactive, team-oriented problem solver who thrives in fast paced environments. The individual and team goal will be to develop and maintain high-quality software aligned with user needs and business objectives.\n\nWork location for this position is in our Palo Alto, CA office. Must have legal authorization to work in the US.\n\nResponsibilities\nLead within an Agile team to design, review, and deliver high-quality, well-tested code that meets business requirements.\nSolve complex technical challenges by implementing robust, high-standard software solutions.\nCommit to delivering stories and tasks within the sprint.\nDevelop automated test cases to validate integrated / end-to-end functionality.\nActively communicate and collaborate within the team and across functional boundaries.\nDrive opportunities to increase efficiency, security, and product quality through best practices.\nInteract with support teams to handle customer issues.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in a software related field and 8+ years of experience or Master's degree in a software related field and 6+ years of experience.\nExtensive experience with Python, Java, libraries, and asynchronous programming.\nStrong experience with Linux operating systems.\nExperience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).\nSolid understanding of networking concepts, security, and system administration.\nExperience developing scalable systems with high availability.\nExperience in configuration management and infrastructure automation technologies like Salt and Ansible.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub Actions).\nExperience with relational and NoSQL databases.\nGood knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, software design patterns and distributed systems fundamentals.\nKnowledge of version control systems such as Git.\nAbility to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.\nAbility to learn, apply, and integrate with various technologies.\nAdditional Job Description:\nCompensation and Benefits\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $192,000.\nAs a valued member of our team, you'll be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and the opportunity to receive not only a competitive new hire equity grant, but also annual equity awards, connecting your success directly to the company's growth.
