We build for humans and AI, so you’ll use AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor) daily to move faster and design models, metrics, and documentation that agents and analysts can both rely on.What You’ll DoDesign and build production dbt models on Databricks that the organization uses as the source of truth for what’s happening in the businessSupport external reporting with accurate, governed data that stakeholders and partners can trustOwn data quality: testing, CI/CD, documentation, and patterns the team followsBuild and evolve Databricks dashboards and semantic metrics for self-service across the businessPartner with Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and analytics stakeholders to turn messy business problems into durable data productsDrive AI-native workflows: Cursor/Claude (or equivalent) in daily development; model and doc design that works for LLM consumersYou Bring3+ years in analytics engineering or equivalent: you’ve owned production models end-to-end, not just ad hoc analysisExpert SQL and deep dbt experience (architecture, incremental models, tests, macros, CI/CD)Strong Databricks BI (or equivalent semantic layer) deliveryAI-savvy in practice: you already use AI coding tools daily, validate outputs rigorously, and design data for both humans and agentsProven ability to execute in ambiguity: startup pace, incomplete specs, bias toward shippingClear communicator across technical and non-technical audiencesOwner mentality: you see what’s broken, fix it, and raise the bar for othersTools We UseWe use Node and TypeScript on the server, leveraging the NestJS framework within a microservice-oriented architecture running on Kubernetes and AWS. On the client side, we build and ship product features for iOS, Android, and web platforms using React Native. We also embrace AI-assisted development, so engineers have their choice of Claude Code or Cursor to fit their workflow.
