Patrol Security Officer - Overnight

Employment Type: Full-TimePay Rate: $18.00 per hourSchedule: Monday to Friday | 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM (with some weekend coverage as needed)Position SummaryCitadel Security USA is hiring for an overnight patrol role covering multiple properties in the Grand Junction area. This position involves traveling between sites, checking that everything is secure, and handling situations as they come up during the shift.Most nights are fairly quiet, but staying alert is still important. You will be working on your own for much of the time, so being able to stay on track and follow your route without constant direction is key.Core ResponsibilitiesDrive between assigned locations and complete patrol checks throughout the night Walk properties when needed to confirm doors, gates, and access points are secure Handle lock and unlock duties based on site instructions Watch for anything unusual and respond according to site guidelines Maintain a visible presence while on patrol Write clear notes on patrol activity, incidents, or anything out of place Minimum QualificationsValid driver’s license with a clean driving history Ability to carry a firearm in line with state laws and company policy Previous armed security experience or relevant training Availability for overnight shifts, including some weekends Preferred SkillsComfortable working independently for long periods Strong attention to detail and situational awareness Clear communication when reporting or documenting information Reliable attendance and punctuality A Few Things To Keep In MindPatrols cover multiple sites during each shift The role includes both driving and walking Schedule may shift slightly depending on coverage needs Equal Opportunity EmployerCitadel Security USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
