Benefits vary by location.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintain Transdev’s high standard of safety, both inside and outside of the vehicle.\nServe as a technology and learning liaison, fostering effective and professional communication with management, engineers, and members of the public;\nSet the tone and example for less experienced Operations Drivers;\nOperate with safety as the primary goal;\nConsistently demonstrate situational awareness, an understanding of the technology in his/her care, and a willingness to constantly adjust to changes in the environment;\nConduct classroom sessions and deliver on-the-job training for new Vehicle Operators, Roadside Assistance, and Depot Teams.\nBe able to safely orchestrate training for multiple trainees concurrently in a variety of settings such as classroom, in-depot, and in-vehicle.\nParticipate in onboarding of new-hires and navigating them through multiple weeks of training with a positive attitude, setting the tone and example for less experienced employees\nPractice a firm yet understanding teaching style to accommodate different learning styles.\nAssist in creating and maintaining the training programs and its materials.\nDevelop comprehensive expertise in the latest autonomous vehicle system technologies.\nStandardize and maintain consistent training practices across the organization.\nParticipate in weekly meetings with managers and other peers for training improvement discussions, and daily meetings with peers on shift to discuss trainees’ feedback and performance\nMonitor automated driving software systems, compiling changes among different software versions and features, verifying changes on the log.\nCapable of responding quickly to changing and potentially high-pressure environments.\nProvide rides in the self driving car to the general public.\nComply with Transdev’s Autonomous Vehicle Division zero-tolerance policy regarding the use of alcohol or drugs by self-driving vehicle operators during a shift, including randomized drug testing;\nDemonstrate a positive demeanor when training new personnel and be available for at least one-week training assignments.\nMust be cross-trained to assume responsibilities of all other positions when not engaged in instructional duties.\nPerform thorough cleaning and detailing of vehicles, including washing, vacuuming, polishing, and interior sanitation to ensure they are in pristine condition.\nMust be able to work specific shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends, as well as overnight shifts and ability to travel up to 30% of the time;\nMust be able to flex into other shifts including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends, as well as overnight, as necessary up to 30% of the time.\nAll other duties as assigned\nRequired Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs):\nProficiency with a laptop computer and GSuite apps (i.e. Gmail, Hangouts, and Driver, including Sheets andDocs); and\nProficiency with using a touchscreen smartphone (Android preferred but not required).\nMust have good attention to detail and be able to quickly and concisely describe their thoughts;\nCapable of responding quickly and simultaneously to multiple scenarios;\nAdapt quickly to new and developing technology;\nCross-functional verbal and written communication and issue escalation;\nMust be able to multitask multiple technologies, including communications devices and vehicle status systems\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills;\nMust be self-motivated and demonstrate good judgment, in fast-paced, high stress environments; and\nLeadership skills to supervise classes with large groups of people.\nPhysical Requirements:\nLong periods of standing, walking, and sitting.\nUse hands to finger; handle or feel; and talk or hear; climb stairs and/or ladders.\nOccasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.\nMust be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.\nMust use close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\nMost work is accomplished outdoors in a vehicle.\nPre-Employment Requirements:\nMust be 21 years old;\nAll Transdev employees must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
