Army, other U.S. agencies and allied nations with Aerial Target Flight Services (ATFS), operating and maintaining aerial target flight operations for any directed mission and aerial target flight operations and maintenance services at Fort Bliss, TX; White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM; and other Posts, Camps, and Stations (PCS) in the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside CONUS (OCONUS).\nWe are currently seeking to hire an Electronics Technician Maintenance I at WSMR based out of our facilities in Orogrande, NM.\nAs an ETM, you’ll need to apply basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, such as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers and oscilloscopes. You’d have to apply your technical knowledge of electronics principles to determine equipment malfunctions, and then apply your skill to restore equipment to working condition, as well as to evaluate performance and reliability of prototypes or production modes. You’d work under close supervision, receiving technical guidance from a supervisor or higher-level technician and your work would be checked frequently for accuracy.\nPrimary functions for this position include (but are not limited to):\nApplying basic technical knowledge to perform routine O&M tasks following detailed instructions.\nTroubleshooting and isolating electronic circuits and interpreting Technical Manuals and schematics.\nModifying and installing various types of electronic equipment and related devices.\nWork includes cross-utilization into other positions that fall within our scope of work.\nOther duties as assigned.\nWork Conditions:\nConditions will vary but most work will be accomplished in enclosed buildings.\nThere will be work on the range throughout the year so temperatures will vary over the course of the year.\nWork includes cross-utilization into other positions that fall within our scope of work.\nThe position will require overtime and weekend work.\nMust be able to lift 50 lbs., unassisted, to the waist.\nYou must be able to deploy to both CONUS and OCONUS for short stints.\nRequirements:\nEducation/Experience/Skills:\nTwo-year degree in the Electronics field or equivalent or High School diploma + two (2) years Avionics/Electronics experience.\nComputer/Networking/MS Office.\nBasic electronics background with an avionics background preferred.\nMust be able to deploy to both CONUS and OCONUS.\nMust be able to lift 50lbs to the waist.\nCurrent NM or TX Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.\nU.S. Citizenship required and you must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance within 45 days of hire date and maintain Clearance throughout employment.\nAll candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.\n___________________________________________________________________________________________________________\nSupporting Our Warfighters:\nAs a highly regarded DoD employer, SA-TECH recognizes that our success is indicative of our team members' hard work and dedication towards a common goal… Supporting our Warfighters.
