From maintaining ironclad security to supervising network updates and training users, the administrator is not only IT support but also the thread that connects all operations. Deep technological expertise with a wide range of computer systems, hardware, and software is essential for the network administrator to excel in this role and help drive our organization forward.\nObjectives of this role\nAssist in network design, implementation, and maintenance\nProvide network support across organizational operating systems\nMaintain stable and consistent connectivity across all network devices\nPrepare, implement, and monitor disaster procedures and recovery\nMaintain strong security practices and oversight\nResponsibilities\nMaintain network servers and associated hardware, software, services, and settings (Both Physical & Virtual)\nRecommend, test, implement and enforce security standards\nConsistently monitor and troubleshoot network stability and performance\nCreate, adjust, and maintain network user settings and permissions\nWrite technical support documentation for network systems and applications\nPropose improvements to increase the IT value to the organization\nProvide assistance to the IT help desk team when required\nParticipate in both corporate wide IT projects and facility localized projects\nIdentify, develop, and implement training for employees and technicians for the use of the LAN, WAN, WIFI and associated networking systems as well as the maintenance and repair and troubleshooting of systems. Develop and conduct various training programs for system users to improve user skills, productivity, and accuracy. Educate and inform staff on cybersecurity issues and common security protection methods\nWork with SOC team to ensure solid cyber security for the entire organization\nRequirements:\n\nRequired skills and qualifications\nThree or more years of experience in a network administration role\nComprehensive knowledge of networking concepts, computing infrastructures and troubleshooting\nProven skills in network engineering, operations, and performance analysis\nIn depth knowledge of Microsoft Active directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy and PowerShell\nExperience with leading server management and monitoring tools\nStrong communication skills for training, assisting end users and interacting with leadership\nExcellent knowledge of VMWare, O365, Azure AD, Firewall Technologies, and Windows Server Operating Systems\nBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related field\nPreferred skills and qualifications\nExperience with VPN and MFA technologies\nExperience with Fortinet Firewalls and Access Points, Watch Guard Firewalls, Mimecast, and LANSweeper\nExperience with Synology Appliances and Backup Applications\nExperience with either EMC SANs or other storage units and either Cisco or Dell switches\nExperience with MS SQL a plus\nProfessional certification, such as CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP a plus\nFamiliar with CMMC and NIST security standards and certification processes a plus\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.
