This position has the responsibility of establishing/maintaining a capable, continuously improving, high quality work force with focus on improving plant equipment reliability, quality, process, and efficiency at the lowest sustainable cost.\n\nDetailed Roles & Responsibilities\n\nManages and leads a team of supervisors to deliver quality and quantity of production to meet demand.\n\nDirects and manages the Maintenance and Production resources to meet and exceed all safety, health and environmental regulations.\n\nEnsure the development of sound predictive and preventative maintenance programs which will reduce unplanned shut downs and continuously improve plant reliability, profitability and product quality.\n\nPartners with support functions (i.e. Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, etc.) to meet production demands.\n\nReviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.\n\nDevelops or revises standard operational and working practices.\n\nCompiles, analyzes, stores, and retrieves production data.\n\nDrives Continuous Improvement initiatives within the Packaging department.\n\nWork Experiences\n\nExperience in a technical role required (maintenance, engineering and/or operations), preferably in a federally regulated manufacturing environment.\n\nMinimum of 3-5 years of related management experience, including overseeing supervisors and managing a multi-departmental manufacturing/ production operation.\n\nFood or beverage production experience strongly preferred.\n\nExperience designing and driving process improvement in a food (or similar) manufacturing environment.\n\nEducation Requirements\n\nBachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from a 4-year college or university in Engineering, or similar field required.\n\nContinuous Improvement or quality certification(s) strongly preferred.\n\nEssential Capabilities (knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Personal Attributes)\n\nProblem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner;
