The Engineering Designer will maintain product drawings by processing all necessary changes and create drawings per engineering standards. The designer will also perform design calculations and make recommendations for specific elements of a product design in accordance with the applicable codes and standards to which the products are manufactured.Essential Job FunctionsCreate new product drawings/models and complete necessary calculationsCreate and/or update product drawings and calculations as necessary for product modificationsGenerate and track Engineering Change Requests and New Product Requests with research for the required changeApply basic engineering principles in the design of new or modified productsReviews regulatory artwork for production and manufacturingAbility to apply standards to design work completedEducation And Experience RequirementsProficient 2D drawing and 3D modeling ability through use of SolidWorks.
