Sr Analyst, Business Pharmacy Enterprise Tech Solutions

The primary purpose of this position is to engage in detailed requirements gathering /analysis with key business partners, documenting requirements including workflow, drafting user stories & supporting IT in scrum/grooming/backlog meetings, and performing some user acceptance testing. The Business Analyst is engaged in work efforts at various scales ranging from minor defects fixes and enhancements to assistance with development of new applications. They are also involved in various types of solution approaches (custom development, enhancements, implementation, etc.) and solution domains (business applications, data warehouses, web services, infrastructure, etc.). The Business Analyst will demonstrate a knowledge of the software development lifecycle and AGILE methodology. Managerial tasks include analytical way of thinking, able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users, and ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.Lead and facilitate the Pharmacy Enterprise Solutions Change Management Process with key stakeholders following SDLC processesDevelops business requirements documentation, workflow designs, and presentations for key pharmacy business stakeholdersCreates business user stories and acceptance criteria for Information Technology Stakeholders using AGILE methodologyParticipate as needed in IT design reviews to ensure compatibility and interoperability of enterprise systemsDevelop a knowledge of system capabilities and functions of pharmacy application software. Use this knowledge to recommend optimal solutions to business requirements that best leverages the productManage special projects and implementations as assigned by Pharmacy Operations and IT ManagementEnsure that proposed system feature and requirements meet user needs and satisfy business objectives and initiativesMay assist in creation and implementation of test plans that are mapped to documented requirementsAbility to evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and abstract low-level information to a more general understandingPerform and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and/or BETA presentations as required on department related projectsCreate training and system documentation, conduct training sessions as necessaryMeet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for othersBuild a relationship between business partners and the IT department relative to requirements, solutions and prioritiesProvide Production Support analysis based on assigned/escalated issues.Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Computer Science, Information Services, or related field required.3 years of experience in business analyst or similar system/business support role required.1 year of experience in proficiency with knowledgebase, defect tracking, and requirements related software systems (such as ServiceNow, IBM Rational RequisitePro, JIRA, etc.) required. Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, modeling, verification and methodology development required .Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies required .Healthcare and/or Pharmacy operations experience preferred .
