{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"5049c079419f4cabd474cdc4","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5049c079419f4cabd474cdc4","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5049c079419f4cabd474cdc4","title":"Technician","description":"If you are unable to complete this application due to a disability, contact this employer to ask for an accommodation or an alternative application process.\n\n3 days ago Requisition ID: 1012\n\nSalary Range: $38.00 To $46.00 Hourly\n\nBBB SD II IS SEEKING AN EXCEPTIONAL ROLLS-ROYCE TECHNICIAN TO JOIN OUR SERVICE CENTER\nHours are Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.\n\nWe are looking for an honest, hard-working, committed technician with a high attention to detail.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nPerforms work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.\n\nDiagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.\n\nCommunicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.\n\nSaves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.\n\nExamines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.\n\nCommunicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.\n\nDocuments all work performed and recommended on the repair order.\n\nRoad tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.\n\nParticipates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.\n\nKeeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins. Supervises work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.\n\nReports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.\n\nEnsures that customers' cars are kept clean.\n\nNotifies service adviser immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle. Keeps shop area neat and clean.\n\nMaintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.\n\nReturns them to the proper place and in the same condition as they were received.\n\nUnderstands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.\n\nOperates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.\n\nReports any safety issues immediately to management.\n\nAssists master techs and shop foreman's.\n\nSkills / Education required to perform the role:\n\nAssociate's degree (A.
