{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"50421dd7cdb202c8aef06b22","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/50421dd7cdb202c8aef06b22","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/50421dd7cdb202c8aef06b22","title":"CNC Programmer","description":"*JOB SUMMARY*\n\nThe CNC Programmer will work with other programmers to develop CNC mill and lathe programs to machine metal parts per component CAD drawings and models provided by the Engineering department.\n\n*Responsibilities include*:\n\n· Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, and specifications;\n\n· Reviews two and three-dimensional computer-aided/automated design (CAD) blueprints and determines how to most efficiently machine the part;\n\n· Determines the sequence of machining operations and selects the required cutting tools.\n\n· Develops off-line CNC software programs in CAM software for milling and turning operations in order to achieve the desired machine part, surface finish and geometric tolerance required per print;\n\n· Works on the floor with machine CNC operators to insure programs are accurate and efficient;\n\n· Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations;
