As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate movement of materials within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nLoad and unload materials from delivery trucks and transport them to designated areas within the facility\nVerify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments\nOrganize and maintain inventory levels\nOperate forklifts and other equipment to move materials as needed\nEnsure that all safety procedures are followed when handling materials\nCollaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of work area\nPartner with operators and cell leaders to move materials to and from production cells to create continual production.\nEnsure accuracy of inventory quantities on all supplies\nEnsure all supply inventory is in the correct locations\nHelp on Production lines as time permits\nMaintain quality compliance of product according to customer specifications\nParticipate in efficiency improvements throughout the plant\nRequirements:\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n1+ years of forklift driving experience.\nAbility to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nStrong knowledge or Plex ERP system and inventory transactions.\nDemonstrated experience in driving efficiency improvements.\nStrong Quality mindset and a drive for perfection.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk and required to reach with hands and arms and stoop/crouch, bend or twist. The employee is occasionally required to push, pull, and/or move material and work in awkward positions, such as underneath equipment, or working around machines in operations area.\nWork Environment\nThe work environment is typical of most manufacturing environments. The noise level in the work environment is usually high with ear protection required as posted.
