This position will assist the project management team with planning, logistics, submittals, material procurement and more. When on a field assignment, travel may include some weekends.\nMust report to the main office in Exeter, NE, located about 50 miles west of Lincoln, NE.\nValid driver s license.\nPre-employment drug and background screening.\nMust be able to pass a DOT physical.\nRequired Skills:\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.\nStrong math skills, including the ability to perform mental math and think analytically.\nA developing knowledge of construction methods and best practices.\nProblem-solving and critical thinking skills, including the ability to plan and conceptualize.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, manage time to meet project deadlines, and effectively coordinate jobsite logistics.\nExcellent communication skills, written and interpersonal.\nStrong initiative and work ethic.\nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team.\nComputer skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with construction industry software is preferred.\nResponsibilities:\nCoordinate the purchase and delivery of project materials.\nAcquire oversize/overweight permits.\nPerform field survey readings and standard documentation.\nPerform field assignments along with a crew to learn about trenchless methods, equipment, and field production.\nAssist with material quotes, cost estimating, quantity take-offs, and follow on bids.\nMaintain records related to bids and projects.\nAssist with submittals, pre-qualification packages, permits, and project correspondence.\nAssist with daily planning, scheduling, and project coordination.\nAssist with project closeout.
