Merchandising includes implementing various marketing initiatives and performing resets in new and remodeled locations.ResponsibilitiesComplete set up of new or remodeled stores, including fixture set-up, product merchandising and posting of all signageUpdate acquired sites to Loaf N Jug merchandising standardsImplement vendor funded resets and Loaf N Jug programs, usually large scale resets requiring fixtures and/or accessories. Includes cooler resets requiring glide changes, candy resets needing labels, OTP resets requiring additional shelves, etc.,Implementation of difficult Marketing initiatives. Projects too cumbersome to be completed by either store staff or DM’sMonitor proper execution of promo plans including product displays and signageSpecial projectsMust be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationWorking Relationship: Will work directly with store managers, DMs, and product vendors. Will communicate regularly with Merchandising Manager, Senior Merchandising Analyst, and Senior Design SpecialistRequirementsMinimum Education: High School DiplomaMinimum Experience: 2-5 years retail experiencePreferred Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on merchandising experience. Proven track record in convenience retail management. Familiarity with multiple retail environments and product categories. Experience conducting resets.Licenses/Certifications: Required Courses and Training Programs (if Applicable)Soft SkillsStrong personality and ability to communicate with management.Robust work ethic.Time management skills.Team player mentality (Succeed Together).Ability to assess, prioritize and react to a very fast paced work environment.Capacity to work under stressful conditions and follow problems through, to resolution, without the need to be constantly directly supervised.Ability to foster teamwork and build collaborative relationshipsStrong interpersonal skillsStrategic planning and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteTravel: 100%, overnights (2-3 per week a must)Hours and Conditions: Typically, Monday - Friday, 8+ hours per dayDriving Requirement: Daily driving of Company vehicle is required.
