We have an exciting opportunity for a Tooling Expeditor. This successful incumbent will coordinate the flow of work and tooling between departments as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.Essential ResponsibilitiesExpedites, routes and dispatches tooling in accordance with production schedules and commitmentsConveys tool from storage to designated area using forklift or other devicesGenerates reports on parts in storage areasAdvises management of status of tool availability and potential production problems to ensure that tools are available as neededMaintains storage, filing location and condition of all tooling equipmentPosition Requirements Inventory, production support and/or warehousing experiencePersonal drive for process improvementsAbility to communicate effectively and work with leaders, peers, and othersForklift experienceExperience tracking and reporting statusWorking knowledge of manufacturing, quality basics, engineering flowsAbility to prioritize and multitaskProficient with Excel spreadsheets and MS OutlookCritical thinking and problem solving skillsWhy Magellan?
