GIS Industry Solutions Specialist - Infrastructure

OverviewLeverage your industry experience and subject matter expertise across a diverse range of Infrastructure industries to identify, craft, and deliver industry content and execute campaigns that support targeted goals and objectives. As an Infrastructure industry specialist, you will research and report on trends, technological requirements, market needs, and other factors that affect the infrastructure organizations and collaborate with key internal stakeholders to help define, execute, and measure the infrastructure go-to-market industry plan. This role requires a diverse set of subject matter expertise across many industries with real applied knowledge and experience working with GIS, Reality Mapping, Digital Twins and other cross industry domains (Electric, Gas, Telecom, AEC, Water, Rail).ResponsibilitiesCreate, manage, and execute campaign tactics and related internal communications to meet Industry campaign success goals, includingConferences, trade shows, seminars, webinars, and workshopsCollateral including blogs, white papers, brochures, and articlesWeb and social mediaPress media and advertisingAlign and collaborate with multiple Esri teams including marketing, sales, product development, international distributors, training, and partner teams to successfully deliver campaigns and qualified leadsWork with Industry Managers and Marketing Specialists to track campaign progress at every step and proactively work with internal and external customers to steer activities in the right directionSupport a regular cadence of content (such as webinars, customer success stories, eBooks, social media, blogs, and more) that drives awareness, demand, and communityDraw upon industry knowledge, research, writing, and collaboration skillsResearch, evaluate, and lead efforts on strategic industry positioning specific to the higher level Infrastructure industries; gain validation by internal and external expertsCollaborate across business development and professional services teams for identification of industry-specific solutions requirements and the development of industry offersDevelop and maintain a strong user community through printed material, on- line forums, and user groupsDevelop deep GIS domain expertise and be responsible for providing product demonstrations and industry expertise to support press and analyst briefings, partner engagements, and customer meetingsRequirements5+ years of experience working in Infrastructure-related industriesKnowledge of GIS and GIS applications within the infrastructure domain (Electric, Gas, Telecom, AEC, Water, Imagery or Digital Twins)Excellent communication skills to include written, verbal, and presentationHighly organized, strongly self-motivated, and can multi-task activitiesQuick learner with a positive attitudeStrong decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skillsTeam player with strong interpersonal skillsBachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, GIS, or geography or a related fieldVisa sponsorship is not available for this posting.
