Please refer to the Blain's Farm & Fleet position description for accurate pay range information.\n\nJob Duties\n\nThe Small Engine Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing various outdoor small engine products such as: chainsaws, snowblowers, lawnmowers, UTVs & ATVs. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service to our customers.\n\nDiagnose and repair small engine outdoor power equipment, recreational equipment/vehicles, and other mechanical equipment.\nProvide excellent service and an exceptional shopping experience. Assist customers by loading and unloading products, locating parts, and answering questions concerning repairs to their units.\nDiagnosing, assembling, and repairing all small engine and outdoor power equipment sold at Blain's Farm and Fleet stores.\nDocument repairs on work orders, track units in the shop, complete and file/close out work orders.\nAssist with warranty claims and file them in a timely manner.\nContact customer regarding work completion date.\nAttend training classes/seminars for repair technicians.\nDemonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies and/or procedures.\n\nQualifications\n\nA successful applicant must:\n\nBe 18 years of age or older\nBe able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend\nPrior small engine and/or automotive maintenance experience\nPrior customer service experience\nPrior Retail experience\nExcellent communication skills\n\nEEO Statement\n\nBlain Supply, Inc and Blain's Farm and Fleet (collectively \"Blain's\") is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
