$150,000 + BenefitsWe are currently working with an engineering and industrial automation business that is expanding its Building Automation team and is looking to hire an experienced Control Systems Engineer.This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex automation projects across data centres, power generation and advanced manufacturing facilities, delivering innovative control system solutions from design through commissioning.What you'll be doingDesign, develop and implement industrial control system solutions.Program, configure and troubleshoot PLC and SCADA systems.Lead the integration of electrical, mechanical and control systems to ensure reliable operation.Develop and execute commissioning plans, test scripts and system validation.Support project planning, technical delivery and customer implementation.Provide training and technical support to end users following project completion.Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver projects safely, on time and within scope.What we're looking forBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).4+ years' experience delivering industrial automation or control systems projects.Strong PLC programming experience, ideally including: Allen-Bradley, ControlLogix & CompactLogix, Schneider Modicon, SiemensPLCsHands-on experience with Ignition SCADA.Experience designing, installing and troubleshooting industrial control systems.Understanding of industrial networking protocols including Ethernet/IP and Modbus.Knowledge of electrical schematics, power distribution and industrial utility systems such as cooling or water systems.Excellent troubleshooting skills with a strong attention to detail.Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal engineering teams.Nice to haveAutoCAD or drafting experience.Experience working within data centres, power generation, manufacturing or critical infrastructure environments.What's on offerBase salary between $100,000 -
