Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for preventive maintenance, repair and operation of building, mechanical and electrical systems, equipment and grounds. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining the building, mechanical and electrical systems, equipment and grounds in a safe and sanitary condition for residents, staff and guests. General maintenance experience. Experience and knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, floor care, equipment and appliance repair. HVAC system operation and maintenance Works in a well lighted, well ventilated resident and staff area. Works in heating plant and kitchen areas intermittently. Works outside on building and ground year around. Sits intermittently during the day. Stoops, bends, stands, walks and reaches frequently. Lifts up to 50 pounds frequently. Works with cleaning chemicals. Works with power hand tools. HVAC equipment and motorized lawn care and snow removal equipment.
