Rapid Service Response Director
DIRECTOR OF RAPID SERVICE RESPONSE (RSR)-Full-Time in Southwest Philadelphia, PAThe Director of the Rapid Service Response Program is a leader at Gemma Services, modeling and championing the UNITED values and ensuring the department operates under the Gemma Way. This role oversees all operations of the Rapid Service Response program, ensuring full compliance with the Philadelphia Department of Human Services (DHS) contract, RSR program requirements, and Gemma Services policies. The Director provides leadership, supervision, and strategic direction to all RSR staff and serves as the primary liaison with DHS and community partners.The Director is responsible for program leadership and oversight, including setting goals, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely intake and referral processing. The role ensures compliance and quality assurance through audits, corrective action plans, and accurate reporting. The Director supervises and develops staff, fostering a trauma-informed, culturally responsive environment and ensuring all training requirements are met. The Director actively engages in community partnerships, serving as a liaison with DHS, CUAs, and other community programs, and participates in outreach and information-sharing within the DHS network. Additional responsibilities include fiscal and administrative management, monitoring budgets and resource allocation, and risk management, ensuring compliance with mandated reporting and emergency protocols while responding promptly to significant incidents. Responsible for ensuring the RSR services are in compliance and are delivered in accordance with the DHS contract and scope of service.Why Gemma? Experience with rapid response, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Equal Opportunity Employer
