Groundskeeper

Groundskeeper/Custodian - 12 month full-time position - 6:30 am - 3:00 pm *Hours may be modified as directed by the school district. The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintenance of buildings, equipment and grounds in all weather conditions.Operates equipment to remove snow and ice and to mow all areas in the district. Treats sidewalks for removal of ice.Sets up athletic fields according to specifications, grooms fields when appropriate, and lays out fields as directed by event schedules.Conducts routine maintenance and repair of all buildings, grounds, and equipment.Care for lawn, bushes, trees, and other outdoor items and equipment, keep the area of the school neat and free from debris.Performs all indoor cleaning as directed. Qualifications:Specific training or job experience required:High School DiplomaSpecial Engineer Boiler License - must acquire within first six months of employmentChemical Application License - must acquire within first ten months of employment Anticipated Start Date: June 3, 2026
