Auto Body/Collision repair/auto Painter

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body/Collision Repair Specialist and Auto Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle repair, painting, and restoration, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results. This role involves repairing, restoring, and painting vehicles to meet manufacturer standards and customer satisfaction. Candidates with dealership experience, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with various tools are highly preferred. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, frame straightening, and panel replacement Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces Apply paint using airless spray equipment or traditional hand tools to achieve a smooth finish Conduct buffing, polishing, and detailing to restore vehicles to their original condition Replace or repair auto glass as needed and ensure proper sealing and fitment Utilize welding techniques for structural repairs when necessary Maintain and operate power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid checks and minor mechanical repairs when required Ensure all repairs meet safety standards, quality expectations, and manufacturer specifications Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair progress and addressing customer concerns Skills Proven experience in auto body repair, collision repair, or auto painting; dealership experience is a plus Strong knowledge of auto restoration techniques and vehicle maintenance procedures Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, buffing machines, and other relevant tools Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and auto glass installation Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement Experience with auto estimating software is advantageous Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes and repairs Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and customers Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This position offers an engaging opportunity for automotive professionals passionate about restoring vehicles with precision craftsmanship.
