Card Services SpecialistThe Card Services Specialist is responsible for performing daily functions necessary to promote strong, exceptional member service levels regarding all ATM, debit and credit card matters. The Card Services Specialist corresponds between member cardholders, businesses, or other individuals to ensure proper procedures and actions are completed in regards to resolving disputed items. Great opportunity for an entry-level candidate looking to gain additional banking experience!The expected salary for a new hire in this position is $50k-$52k per year. The wage/salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several qualifying factors, including but not limited to: years of relevant experience, years of industry experience, education, etc. This position is HYBRID, with some on-site work required at Affinity Headquarters in Basking Ridge, NJ.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesHandles credit and debit card dispute claims from members and takes appropriate action to resolve appropriately while following Visa and regulatory guidelines.Works with member and vendor or other individuals where applicable to resolve claims and avoid chargeback.Works with member to obtain all necessary claim information and submits for chargeback to Visa.Acts as an advocate for members to ensure positive resolutionsManages reconcilement of chargeback process on DNA/CCM Core System: chargeback, representment, pre-arbitration through to closure.Assists Branch and Hub personnel relative to Plastic Card account inquires.Provide general account information assistanceResearches and responds appropriately to inquiriesAssists with Rewards program inquiries and maintenancePerforms Plastic Card account maintenance:Orders new plasticsExpedited card requests via instant issue or central issue pull requestCloses accounts at member requestBlocks and reorders all plastic cards, as neededManages the cards reported lost/stolen process thru Visa VRUBlocks all cards returned to processor for invalid mailing addressReviews and corrects daily AP Reject ReportProcesses cycle and limit change requestsHandles In-House Card Embossing productionPerforms card production in accordance with security standardsParticipates in monthly balance auditsProcesses member travel notificationsKnows, follows and understands the standardized procedures and policies of the Card Services area.Provides back up as needed.Miscellaneous ResponsibilitiesAll other duties as assigned.Education And/Or Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required with 2-4 years of related work experience.Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve problems.Proficient in the use of various software packages. This includes but is not limited to: Knowledge of DNA/CCM Core System, Outlook, Excel, Word.
